Never had anything stitched before?
Most people walking in have not. There is nothing to prepare and nothing to know in advance — the whole process is three visits, and the first one takes fifteen minutes.

Measurements and a fitting
Measured at the shop, no appointment needed. You come back once for a fitting before the piece is finished, twice if it is heavily worked.
Collect, and wear it
Ready in ten days to three weeks for most suits. Small adjustments after collection are not charged for.
